Good Luck this weekend Steve Bright in the swimming Nationals… Steve is swimming in a relay and we hope you all swim like fish and come home with a medal!

Saturday 4th November  was the  10km Rough Run in aid of cancer research on the 4th November.  It was a Tough 10k – and it was a great trail run with some very steep slopes and lots of mud.  Kirsty triumphed and came third lady in 50 minutes.  Andy was not far behind in 51 minutes… then Dave R in 26 minutes.  Tom ran his first ever 10k and he did enjoy it… and we completed in 58 minutes… which was brilliant as we were really pacing it to come in in under the hour.  Well done everyone.

The annual TriHard award night will be on Friday 17th November from 6.30pm – 9pm in the Cricket Club (Abingdon Road Standlake) – please do come along and bring a plate of food to share, the bar will be open… it time also to vote for who you think should win this years’ ‘Tried Hardest’ award.  You can vote for one person young or old.  Please email your vote to me emma@turniton.co.uk

During the evening we will be planning events for next year… we already have some in the bag… The Devon Coastal half marathon, Southampton Marathon, Race to the Stones, Blenheim Triathlon…

We have a team for the Blenheim Triathlon on Saturday 2nd June.  So if you would like to give this iconic sprint triathlon a blast then please join us – please enter the Saturday Sprint (mixed) and enter ‘Lower Windrush’ team name when you are asked if you would like to join a team…
