News this week is that the Abingdon marathon is now open for entries… it fills up fast – so if you fancy taking on the big one this year then book your place now. A 16 week training plan for the this event starts on the 1st July – so there’s plenty of time to train!

Training Plans
Saturday 24th Feb Run : Run for all – meet Standlake Post Office 07.30 this week. Run lasts approx 1 hour and will be around 10km long – with options to shorten or lengthen depending on ability!
Sunday 25th Feb: Lane Swimming: Either 8am in the Witney Pool or Carterton pool. email emma@turniton.co.uk for lift sharing!
Monday – Friday. Head torch runs are back! Meet Celina at 5.15am at the end of Lancott Lane.
Tuesday : 7.30pm Spinning at the Windrush Leisure Centre in Witney. Call to book a place on the class.
Wednesday: Run for beginners. Meet Yew Tree Farm 9.15am. (Call Emma for more details 01865 300204)
Friday 2nd March : Circuits. Standlake Village Hall. 6.30pm. £1.50 entry for adults and children 11 and over. Children under 11 come for free!
