Merry Christmas Trihards everywhere! This is the last post until 1st January 2019! – so the training plans below include dates from the 15th – 24th December. The TriHard end of season evening was last Friday, 7th December, thank you for all the lovely food and fabulous cake! It was a brilliant way to wrap up what has been a tremendous year in the triHard calendar.

The Oxford Santa Sprint on Sunday 9th December… . was a festive and fun affair – great to meet up with many TriHards young and old.. and run for a worthy cause!
Another Worthy Cause: The Standlake Santa Run, in aid of CRISIS and organised by Wai will be on Saturday 22nd December. Meet at the Black Horse, High Street Standlake for a 3pm start. Well done Wai for already raising over £500 for the CRISIS winter appeal.

Blenheim Triathlon is open for entries – is fills up fast! I have created a team – for Saturday 1st June, General Entry in the Sprint Triathlon. If you join the team, then we will all go off in the same wave! The team name is Lower Windrush Tri Club.. and the password is lower windrush (all lower case). Have a go at this great, iconic race… to enter follow the link below.. and, when you are prompted on the registration form, click that you would like to join a team… and then join us!
The White Horse Challenge Cycle sportive is on Sun 8th April 2019, entry opens 1st Dec 2018 http://www.whitehorsechallenge.com/ Its a great , early season cycle.
The South Devon Trail run is also now open for entries. Well done to Jon, Kirsty, Andy and Emma already entered – any other takers!? This is a fabulous off road run on the Devon Coastal path that takes in some amazing scenery. There is a 10k, half marathon, marathon and ultra marathon option :
Remember there is no Circuit Training on Friday 14th – instead meet for a head torch run at 6.30pm at the Post Office in Standlake.
Saturday 15th December
Village Run – Meet 7am Standlake Post Office for a 1 hour run.
Or, Whitehorse Hill Run with JOn H Meet 7am in the White Horse Hill National Trust Car-park.
Sunday 16th December: Lane Swimming
Meet at 7.55am – for an 8 am swim at Witney Better (Windrush Leisure Centre) Pool.
Friday 21st December : Circuits. The Last Circuit Training of the Year – 6.30pm Standlake Village hall. Come and work out to your favourite Christmas Tunes! £1.50 for adults and over 12,s. Under 12s are free but must be accompanied by an adult.
Saturday 22nd December. Standlake Santa Run. 3pm The Black Horse, High Street Standlake.
Monday 24th December. Christmas Eve run. Meet 7am Post Office Standlake for a 6 mile run to get ready for the big day!
