It’s been a lovely quiet half term week! – And training will get back to normal next week.
The Junior Cross country running club meetings will start back next week on Tuesdays.. and on Saturday 25th Feb we have our first fixture… (we are organising our own!) – at 4pm on Calais Lane. The club will be meeting from 3.45pm on Calais lane (the A415 end) and I am asking people to park and drop off children in the Banger Track Layby). The children will run a timed 1 mile race (Older children will run 2 miles!). If anyone is around for half an hour on Saturday 25th and wouldn’t mind giving up a bit of time to help marshal the race.. we would be very very grateful! Lane swimming at the Carterton Better Pool! 5.30pm Email the group for lift sharing
OR Lane swimming at the Witney Better Pool! 8.30pm Email the group for lift sharing. Emma will be driving this week so let me know if you would like a ride!
Tuesday – Thursday. Head torch runs with Celina. Meet 5.15am at Celina’s – Lancott Lane.
Wednesday 9.30am RUN FOR BEGINNERS with Emma Welch. This is a half hour run following a “couch-to-5k” type routine. This week we shall be walk-running 2 miles (running for 30 seconds every two minutes and a half minutes). Meet 9.30am. Yew Tree Farm. Abingdon Road. Standlake OX29 7QH.
